HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR CHILD’S MEALS THROUGH PARENT PAY
Navigate to parentpay.com and log in.
Select the Pay for <child’s name> meals button with the symbol to credit your child’s school meal balance.
Complete the amount you wish to pay (within the minimum and maximum defined by your school).
Select Add to basket.
Select View basket and pay.
Review the order summary details and either:
Select Pay now (please note that the amount you are required to pay will be reduced by any credit you have in your Parent Account balance). Complete the secure checkout. You will be given a final opportunity to review your purchases prior to committing your card payment.
Select Pay using Parent Account (if you have sufficient funds in your Parent Account balance).
You will receive an onscreen notification when you have completed your payment.
The Wilnecote School will be introducing a Cashless Catering system on the 3rd of December 2018.
After a recent tender process Chartwells have been awarded the contract to provide the schools catering service for the next three years.
As part of the new contract there will be several improvements including, a new outdoor service point to allow students to purchase on the go food and drink in the playground area, a new and improved menu, and possibly the biggest change will be the new cashless catering system.
The Wilnecote School is constantly striving to improve the school experience for our students and this new system will allow us to continue with the development of an improved school meal service and will provide our students with a more efficient, faster and ultimately better quality of service.
This system incorporates the latest technology and has many benefits including:
- Safety The elimination of the need for pupils to carry cash during the day thus contributing to their safety.
- Reliability The system uses your child’s thumb print so there is no need for pupils to carry cash or a card as the system will recognise the thumb of Your child at the tills.Convenience Online payments for the system can be made using your Parent Pay account.
- Discretion students who are in receipt of free school meals (FSM) will simply have their FSM allowance applied to their account daily. We have included with this letter an FSM application form which can be completed with the consent form if you believe that your child may be eligible.
- Healthier eating The system enables parents/carers to monitor the food purchased.
