Students return to school on Wednesday 4th September 8:25am

It is with real pleasure that I welcome you to The Wilnecote School, a school with a long and proud history in the local community and which also looks to its future with excitement. No website or prospectus, however glossy, can tell you everything you need to know about a school but I would like to introduce you to a school full of committed professionals with wide experience and a passion for helping children to achieve their very best in every context. It is a school with ambition and on the cusp of something special.

I am personally committed to continuing to improve the educational experience and academic outcomes of all our children. If you were to ask me to distil my own vision for them I would borrow the words of the late Daphne Park, Principal of Somerville College, Oxford,

“The qualities which I would wish for them are courage, stamina, intellectual curiosity, the desire for excellence, an adventurous spirit and above all an abiding belief in the decency of human beings.”

I know that The Wilnecote School can provide all these things and more.
